To Write Love On Her Arms is a good foundation, because it provides people who are stuggling with a sense of hope. I feel that TWLOHA supports people in need, and it gives them a second chance in life to start over. I have personally known people who have struggled, and TWLOHA is a foundations that has reached out to them and has personally helped them get back on the right track. The story behind To Write Love On Her Arms, is a remarkable story that has inspired me to help others who are struggling, whether it is with addiction or abuse. Lending out a helping hand is something that could change a person's life forever, and that is what TWLOHA is proactively doing. If any thing can change a person, it is TWLOHA.

I heard about TWLOHA because I saw pictures of bands wearing their t-shirts and my friend had a sweatshirt from them. so I looked it up online to see what it was. I became hooked to this organization, because it outreached out to ppl that I have a big heart for.
In my life I've always tried to make other people happy and tried to make peoples lives better, but it got to the point where I was carrying so many of my friends problems on my shoulders that I just broke. I couldn't handle the stress anymore and my life became overrun with anxiety and depression. I lost all hope. I always told my friends that everything would be okay but it came to the point where I didn't even believe what i was telling them. TWLOHA restored that hope for me and made my life easier. It showed me that, through other peoples stories, there was hope and their was a bright side to life. In matter of months I went from my all time low to where i am now. TWLOHA deffinetly helped me a ton, and I've used it to help my other friends as well. I have finally had another recource to go to and to send my friends to and it deffinetly helps me take some of the weight of my friends problems off of my shoulders. It has also been a big help to my friends. I have seen my friends lives turn around thanks to TWLOHA and because I finally had the strength to lead my friends.

I think you'll find, as with any community, that what joins us is a common interest: we all care about the issues that TWLOHA deals with. We've either been through something ourselves or seen loved ones go through something.
I think that the importance and the depth of these issues means that this community could be a particularly powerful one: we're a group of people with a shared passion for something very meaningful (compared with, for example, an online community based around love of a particular band/film/actor etc). I think this is an important comparison to make: just because this is an online community, doesn't mean it's trivial!

It's quiet obvious why TWLOHA is important to me... I think it's an excellent way of reaching out to those hurting and going through the things that I went through.
